Sydney Adventist Hospital (SAH) – fondly referred to as ‘the San’, is operated by Adventist HealthCare Limited. The San’ is now NSW’s largest private hospital with over 700 beds, including 523 licensed overnight beds. It is the largest private hospital in NSW, and the largest single employer in the Ku-ring-gai Council area. Over 2,300 staff, 500 volunteers and 1,000 accredited medical practitioners care for more than 64,000 inpatients and 126,000 outpatients annually. The 24/7 Emergency Care treats approximately 18,000 patients each year making it NSW’s largest and busiest private Emergency Department.
