The facility is currently undergoing redevelopment to include a new emergency department, upgrades to palliative care, medical imaging, sterilising services and administration areas. In addition, the upgraded Merredin Health Service will include a new building for Aboriginal health, allied health and outpatient services, school and child health clinics, mental health consulting rooms for visiting specialists and telehealth amenities.
Redevelopment works were completed in 2019.
