The 2008 upgrade to the Fitzroy Crossing Hospital replaces the old eight-bed facility and includes 12 acute inpatient beds, two boarder beds, emergency care, primary health and public dental services.
The new emergency department has two treatment bays, a dedicated resuscitation room and five consulting rooms for outpatient clinics.
